Using tds calibration fluid

Im trying to make sure my tds pen is set properly. I purchased calibration fluid so I just want to make sure Im doing it right. It says 800 ppm and then has a chart which Im guessing is the change of ppm according to temperature. So Im supposed to pour this fluid into a container take the temp then check the tds and then "tune" my tds meter to match the chart?

I can't help You here , I have an inline and was just thinking when I read this do I have to ever calibrate It?

Ive been wondering this for a little bit and figured that everyone uses an R/O filter ...... so this shouldve been answered pretty quickly. Does no one ever calibrate these units?

I have never done it to my inline and don't really know if you even do. But it seems like I have to change out the filter more often now and when I read this I was thinking , Maybe it is bad reading from the TDS and it is costing me money changing out the elements

I stick mine right into the calibration fluid. I don't believe I adjust for temp, though.
