Ushio, Hamilton Or Phoenix? 250w DE
OK, so I need a new 250w bulb. And based on the Sanjay readings, they dont help me much, since Im running a different ballast. But I did gain from Whiskey, that the xm 15k DE SUCK. The par is less than their 20ks. So my question is, which 250w DE 14k bulb is the best option? Im open to all brands, but it seems like the most common on online stores are Ushio, Hamilton and Phoenix... Along with XM, but thats kinda ruled out. And the Megachrome looks solid, but Im not paying $105 for a bulb.

Is it electronic? Is it HQI, or Magnetic standard?

How can you tell? I know its electronic, but I dont know if its HQI or Magnetic standard? Unless those are 3 options, lol. Then it is electronic.

Hmm, it doesn't really say does it? Is the MH ballast external? Or inside the fixture?
Magnetic standard is one type
HQI is magnetic,.. but another kind
Electronic is the final type.

Ok right on.
I'd go with the Phoenix 14K it's not bad on output at all,.. rated at 69 par.

and 69 is solid? Because I have 250w of MH alone, then another 96 of T5s on there also... this is on a 60g, so I think my lighting is more than I need. So I guess the Phoenix it is. Thanks for the help again there Whiskey.

No, its a 24x24x24 60g. So the 250w was kinda needed since its deeper.
