Useful tip for those that use filter socks

When they wear out, cut them in to small squares (I usually go with around 4"x4" to 6"x6" and use them as cleaning pads. They won't scratch acrylic, they're easy to clean, and they're virtually indestructable.

cool. heres one I learned from southernreefer. if you have a big magnet to clean your glass, put a papertowel in between the magnet on the outside and the glass and not only clean the inside of the tank, but the outside as well!

anybody else got any clever tips (cleaning related or not)?
