I could never get that much coraline algae on the glass after 9 months...wow...I like that approach to keep the rocks off the sand. I usually do the bare glass in the back where rocks sit on and only sand in the front. Illusion that rock is sitting on sand, but that's a neat way to set your rock. Looks cool. Get a goby in there, and he'll be in heaven.

I think the reason for all the coraline is I don't have a protien skimmer. Allthough I am getting an asm g1x next week.
