UPDATE: My lighting (not good)

Hello all,

I havent been posting lately (I've been spending most of my time on the phone with ReefFanatic), so I decided to give you an update on my current lighting situation.

Backround info: For those of you who dont know, a long long time ago (6 weeks?) I ordered a fully assembled VHO system from ReefFanatic.com. It supported 4 110w VHO bulbs (included) and ran on an icecap 660 ballast. It was the whole works, endcaps reflectore etc. For the rest of the info on what happened when I got it, see the previous thread cleverly entitled "ReefFanatic.com-arrrgghhhh!".

UPDATE:Well friends its been quite a while since I last posted so you would probably assume that by now the light are working. Right? Wrong. None of the light fixtureS, (thats right, I have more than one now ) are working. After countless hours on the phone with ReefFanatic, and Icecap, and many a trip to Radio Shack to get those all-important Slow-Blow fuses (last count over twenty blown fuses, I might add) I have nothing to show. No light, no nothing. I have two IceCap 660 Ballasts, and two sets of pre-wired end-caps w/reflector, and 4 VHO bulbs. I cannot believe this is happening. I don't mean to bash ReefFanatic though, they really seem to care, but caring wont get my $400 lights to work. Well actually, since I have two of everything, that would make it $800, and if you throw shipping in there...your up near 1000 bucks The point of this post you ask? Well, I guess I could say that I'm checking to make sure my account still works (and if your reading this, good job admins! ), but I'd say I'm only writing this to vent. So thanks for listening. I'll let you know what happens.

Thanks again,
Drew

Just curious....

None of the light works? What if you try to light just 2 bulbs? Would that work?

Drew,

Something is wired wrong. It could be the fixture or the outlet in your house. Take Phil up on his offer.
