Unidentified ?
Have a 55 gal,6 months old.All paremeters are great, except Nitrates 20.
I have this ? growing on the sides of tank, heater, Mangrove plants, and a little on my LR. Anyone tell by my pic. what this is?

i take it you are looks at the white stuff?
it seems to be in a pattern almost. that could be a snail egg trail.

I had the same looking thing on my mangroves too and assumed it was snail eggs. They have since disappeared. Tagging along for interest.

have no idea what they are, sorry.
do not worry about nitrates 20ppm or lower. most test kits can not measur that accurately anyway.

It looks like a little algea that I get once in awhile in places that get funky flow. My Tang and CB keep it munched pretty well. Then it just disapears.
