Question

Unhappy Dwarf Lion

I currently upgraded my tank I added 1 250 MH and got my tank cycling 20+ times per hour. all my coral seem happy. but my happy go lucky Dwarf Lion fish only seems happy when the tank settles down now. is he just adjusting. or is this common for this fish

lions are predominantly noctornal feeders. they like to sneek up on their prey. this is easier to do when the current is slower, also at night. not that big of a deal as long as you can get it to eat. it may just spend most of the time hanging out under the rocks in calm spot.

Also lions don't like bright lights so I would think that in order to not hurt his eyes he will hang out in the shadows most of the time while the MHs are on.
my 2 cents

Perhaps you could try petting him and see if that makes him feel better
