looks like the same Tyree sunset a club member around here has with a slightly blue/actinic hue going on. the sunset around here usually hides this red base bc of the really shaggy heavy yellow grn polyps. might be that you aren't carbon dosing or your little emperor is keeping it a little close to the chest.

I haven't seen the emperor peck any corals except for acans, and they are all now in the frag tank I have noticed a general lack of PE in my tank, but I'm thinking its because as the tank has matured, it has become a pretty low nutrient system. Also, there is a lot of flow on the sunset, moving the vortech so it gets more indirect flow is on my to-do list tonight.

Well here are the ones that I took...I don't have a lot of room to take top down...

Top Down shots.... got me thinking...

Well one of the last photo of the months got me thinking and decided I would try it....Problems I ran into was there wasn't enough room between my light and top of tank for getting the camera in, there was a reflection of the light; how do you take care of that? These turned on pretty good so thought I would get your opinion....

Thanks Cary

Those are really nice. Fish are hard to photograph and clownfish are the HARDEST fish to photograph because they are constantly in motion...I'm jealous your clowns are hosting. I added an anemone a couple weeks ago and my clowns have shown no interest.
