I have a 6 gallon eclipse tank that houses some live rock and "Chomper" my sharpnose puffer. It's been running for over two years now with no problems. In the last couple of weeks though, there is a blue/green slimey algea growing on the bottom (which is 2-3 inches of reef sand, pretty coarse like
crushed coral). All perimiters check out and I do water changes regularly. It is not a live DSB so when I do a water changr I vacum the gravel. It soon grows back in a couple of days. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
