Typhoon RO DI setup help..

Ok im probably retarded, but I want to be sure on how to hook this up.

Can someone tell me what hooks up to what? I couldnt make sense of the 2 page manual for this and the guy at the company is currently not in.

I have the faucet adaptor with the model

There are little tags hanging on all the places in which tubes seem to require attaching.

They are listed below and say...

"product pure out" (located on the end DI canister)- I take it that this is where the ro/do water comes out and should goto a holding tank.

"RO only" (located on top left coming out of RO housing)-This is an end of a valve. Ive no idea where this should connect or goto.

"Your water In" (located on First canister on right which seems to be a sediment or polly filtter)-I take it that this should connect directly to my faucet adaptor.

"To drain" (located on top right near the flash flush valve)-Do I just connect a tube to this and have it goto the drain?

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

The “Water in” is the main inlet from the hose adapter.

The “Pure water out” goes to your fish tank, or a separate storage tank for the RO/DI water.

The “RO only” would go to a drinking water storage tank, then to a faucet.

The “Drain” is the wastewater & goes to the drain saddle that connects to the sink drainpipe.

There should be little blue shipping caps in the connections! To remove them you will need to push in on the little rings while pulling the caps out. To install the line you just need to push it into place. Hope This Helps

Thanks..I think I was mostly confused by the RO only part. So I take it that this valve should always be closed unless I want some drinking water.

I just hooked it up the faucete and water is trickling out slowly. Doesnt seem like 75 gph though. However, theres still a leak at the faucet adaptor that Ill need to fix.

One last question. I turn off the drain valve for it to work. Should this be always off? When and what do I use the drain valve for?

Thanks..Sorry for all the questions..

Well you’re getting closer The shut off valve does not go on the drain/waste line! It goes on the “Pure water” outlet side. The Typhoon should have a (ASOV) “Auto Shut Off Valve” installed! About a minute, after you shut off the valve at the “Pure Water” outlet the ASOV will shut off the wastewater.
