Well i am not giving up like i wanted to when i had HA and cyano bacteria.
Now i need to QT the living fish then treat them really well add them back to the tank asap. I dont want to stress them out to long being in a different tank. This might be a good time to push for my girlfriend to setup that 29 gallon i have been working on for the gobies at her apartment. This way after threating them i can run my tank with no fish for 2-3 months. If she doesnt want a tank then i will have to have them in my QT for 2-3 months.

Nasty stuff man, sorry to hear. i feel your pain being without fish/tank for a while myself. Velvet is nasty stuff. you can tell the difference between it and ich because ich has defined spots and brook/velvet looks like a white powder dusting on the fish.

When my gramma got brook it was bad. It looked like he was peeling after a bad sunburn. The good news is that formalin worked great! The blisters and peeling stopped within 48 hours and he looked a picture of health after 7 days. I kept him in qt for a month before returning him to the main tank. The good thing about him is I knew what rock he hid in and just pulled out the whole rock and transfered rock and all to the qt. I left the rock in the qt after words tho.

Well i run a UV and always have since day one. I replace the UV bulb every 8 months or so.
I just set my webcam back up you can login to it and view my hairy shrooms anytime after 4pm est time and then i think the lights turn off around 10pm est time. Link to my website is in my signature.

That's clearly brooknella. Did the fish start acting very lethargic? Crashing to the bottom of the tank? Breathing heavily? My ocellaris did the same thing for almost a week; I had NO problem catching it because of its lethargy. At first, I feared ich so I did a FW dip for 15 minutes. Quarantined it for two weeks in hypo (approx. 1.010); fed it garlic soaked food twice a day; vacuumed the barebottom of the QT; changed 20% everyday and in that time monitoring every parameter and maintaining a temperature of approx. 76 F (believe it or not; it's better on the fish).
After that time; the color returned...the clownfish swam more aggressively and most importantly--escaped my net in the QT a few times to prove it. Of course, I traded it in to a local store.
This method works! Trust me. No harsh med treatments needed.
