Dang Tim, that really sucks. Sorry to see it. Hope you can isolate the issue so you can get it all fixed.

Sorry to hear, I'm sure you feel devistated by this.....but it will get better in time.
If it's ich, then I would think it most likely to have come from the new fish addition. I assume he wasn't quarantined? It seems the more probable reason.
You can watch the LFS the shrooms came from, It could be possible it come to your tank from the mushrooms rock possibly. Ich can be present on substrate or rocks during one phase of it's life. That's why most QT tanks have just some PVC pieces and not rock or substrate. If the mushroom tank had fish at the LFS, then those fish should show signs as well.
Again, sorry to hear about the losses....I was upset over losing a few damsels in the beginning, if you can believe that! It will get better, Your corals and inverts are still good, so try to think postive!

Well all the corals are fine the two gobies are still living but all the other fish are all dead.
Just did a 25 gallon WC and changed the carbon.

I hate to say it, but this looks like a good time for a 'quarantine 101' thread.
Either the parasite came in on the rock, the wrasse, your hands, whatever. But two weeks is just about the time line when you would see it on them.

Yeah i know i should have done a QT on the new stuff......
Within this next week i am going to setup my QT and get it going. Then get my gobies out of my main tank then put them in the QT and treat the heck out of them.
Then anything new i get will go right into the QT.

Get two 10 gal tanks, paint both sides, one end, and the bottom black.
Dedicated air pump, sponge filters if you want them.
Clorox
ClorAm-X
Coppersafe
Formalin
Nitrofurazone
Fluke Tabs
Piperazine if you can get it.
several 1cc syringes
New clean plastic fish bags, rubber bands.
Two Ammonia badges
It's rare for a fish to only have one thing at a time.
Get all this together and I'll walk you through the rest.
Oh, now's a good time to buy corals and let them sit in the tank for a month without fish.

How long can velvet swim around in a tank without attaching to a fish? Is it similar to ich?

Couple of weeks easy.
That's what I was thinking too Chris. It's not defined like ick and ick doesn't move that fast.
It looked like velvet and brook to me.
Tim, check your emails.

Here are a few pics. Couple of the fish that are still alive and the other is a FTS i have some hair algae from having 4 dead fish in my tank in 3 days. I will be QT the other two living fish. The trick is to catch them now.
