Turboflotor..

I am having trouble getting my skimmer to skim wet... Should I take it apart and clean it? I am using a MJ 1200 to feed it with a venturi on it.. I would like to remove the venturi and just run the MJ. Also can I use the air intake for the needle wheel and put a air pump on there to increase the bubbles?

Just thinking how to get more out of this skimmer.

Geez My turboflotor is skimming too wet at the moment. I actually shut it down last night after 3 full collection cups in 2 hours. I use a mag 3 to feed it and an OceanRunner 2700.

Ya, you shouldn't have a problem there, with the Oceanrunner 2700 needle wheel pump making air, and a MJ1200 feeding water you should be kickin.

Wait,... Is this the in-sump model or HOB model?
Does yours use 2 pumps? If so what is the model number on the second one?
when was the last time you cleaned the venturi?
When was the last time you cleaned the cup?
Can you get a picture of it running?

Hopefully these questions will help me answer your question.
