Turbofloater by Aquamedic?

Has anyone ever used one of these protein skimmers? Not the ones with the Rio pumps but with either the Ocean Runner or Aqua Bee pumps? If so, how did you like them?

Any advice would be helpfull

Doug

I've got a T1000, with the rio 2500? I believe pump, with a mag 3 as a feed pump. The mag is throttled back quite a bit, but I get about 1/2 of the collection cup filled with brown stuff every week on my 46 bowfront. If you get the in-sump skimmer, I'd recommend a big feed pump, as a smaller one will have trouble raising the water level up in the skimmer.

You will have to forgive as I play dumb. Why do you have two pumps? One Rio and one Mag?

I have used both the multi and the oringinal, I like them both for tanks up to 100 gals. Great skimmer for the price
