turbo snails
does anyone know of possible causes for turbo snails to unexpectedly die whilst all water paramters are maintained and are at good levels. a few of my turbosnails in my nano tank seem to have died whilst everything in the tank seems fine and the fish seem to be happy and swimming nicely

aren't these "colder" water snails, and have rather short life expectancies in the tropical temperatures that we keep our tanks at ?
other than that, no idea.

I was told more than 3-4 of those would starve in my 118g, so if you had a number in your nano, I would put my money on starvation.

also, down the road, I'd just get astreas instead...they are easier to keep, do the same job, and most importantly, dont knock your corals all over the place...turbos seem to displace any coral that isnt permanently attached.

i recently noticed on my nano tank, that one of my turbo snails had like a big lump on its shell, (looked like a smaller snail shell on top of the snail shell) but it has now disappeared and where this lump was there is now a white mark on the snails shell. Does anyone know what this could be?
