turbelle stream pump

Can anyone tell me if the turbelle stream pumps, say 6060 give off excessive heat or compare the heat issue to other submersibles ?

Haven't made up my choice of powerheads for flow. Already have return and cls. This would be for additional flow levels in a 4'x2'x2' feet reeftank. Volume 150g of water.

A 6060 is rated at a tiny, 11 watts. The amount of heat it would add to the tank water is negligible.

watts equals heat. not much heat is generated by an 11 watt heater. now a 60 watt Mag could add some heat to a small tank.

I agree with the above,.. When I switched from my Seio 620, Seio 820, and Seio 1500,.. to 2 Tunze 6100's (double the flow) the temp in my tank dropped.
