Turbelle Stream

Wondering if anyone has used a Turbelle Stream before and may be able to help me out a bit. I am thinking of creating an unusual CLS in my tank. I want to go from one side of my tank, around the back and out the other side of my tank to create a general flow from one side of the tank to the other. The way I was thinking about doing this is putting a 1.5-2" bulkhead on each side of the tank followed by a two 90 degree elbows to get around to the back side of the tank. Then using a 1.5" - 4" coupler and running a 3' section of 4-5" PVC along the back. I then wanted to mount a Turbelle stream inside of the 4-5" PVC (actually one facing each direction). Then every couple of hours I could alternate the flow across my tank by switching one off and the other on. Has anyone ever tried using a propeller type pump the push water like this??? Just wondering if anyone has any input before I drop 150 bones to test this idea out.
Thanks for the help
Jeff

I got Turbelle Streams...you don't have to mount them inside the pvc like you are stating, the come with a hanger and you can program them to come on, left/right, randomly, laminar, just to name a few...many different options with the controller and well worth the money IMO, but I dont have a CLS working with them.
