tube anemone weirdness

I dont know what this guy is doing. I always thought he looked more like a featherduster than an anemone as far as his tube is concerned. Thei first picture is what he has looked like for the 8 months ive had him...njever different...look what he is doing now. a few weeks ago i moved him from my display into a holding tank aling with the rest of my softies/lps waiting to be moved into a new system.

The second pic he is doinjg something strange..the whitish spots towards the base are his tentacles..it almost looks like he is having a baby..but its a BIG baby. It looks to me like a purple featherduster worms butt. But, i have had it identified as a tube anemone several times.

anyone ever seen anything like this with their tube anemones???
