Tube Anemone and copods

just got an a beautiful tube anemone see picture.

I read that it will eat all your copods and anything else it can catch? Chemical warfare withother corals?

should I be concerned?

I don't know how many pods it takes, but I have had a Tube Anenome and a Manderan Goby in the same tank for 2 years and have no problems with either. My only loss to the tube was a new female manderan that wandered into it one night

what about chemical warfare? have you seen it effecting any corals nearby.

I placed it within 3-4 inches from a light blue richordia and xenia, they are not touching but they seam to have retraced a bit.

sorry to hear about your manderan....

Tom are you running Carbon?
you might want to make sure the feelers are well enough away from any one..they can be very long as you can see...

I woild probably move it farther from the ricordia. The tenticles of the Anenome can stretch out 8 - 10 inches
