Your welcome Alan...
I hope everyone can take a little time and submit a review or two... I know that the reviews would have helped me out a bunch many years ago and I'm sure the review you write can help someone else. Probably more valuable than some of the posts and recommendations we make here on the forums every day

I wanted to second every word Hop said above and also share an interesting finding... 90% of the reviews we've received are positive reviews!! It really makes me wonder if 90% of the time people are happy with the products they've bought... If you've had a negative experience... Please share it - we want TRT Comparison Shopping to stand out for complete and unbiased advise.
Thanks all!

Does that include the Seaclone? I think I don't see a whole lot of truly inferior products out there as much as there are better products or products that are used in the wrong way.
Speaking of better products....
Are we gonna see MSX or Octo skimmers any time soon? Not to beat a dead horse but those are probably the skimmers I see recommended most.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

MSX and Reef Octopus Skimmers are on our list of products to add... I apologize we haven't gotten to it... we took upon ourselves to add a piece of functionality that will allow members to compare the specs of products (e.g. compare the specs of various pumps or skimmers in the same price range) and that has kept us busy... We've written down the additional products that members have asked that we add, MSX and Reef Octopus skimmers, amongst them - and we will add them but it may take a few weeks.
I also have on my plate to advance the relationship with manufacturing companies to send products to TRT Reviewers for testing and review... We've made some progress there too but need to advance that further to get it going the way we envision it... After those two big tasks... we will get back to add more products to TRT Comparison Shopping.
Thanks for your understanding!

Feels good to say Thank You!
I want to take a moment to thank Hop for the many many wonderful reviews he's been contributing. Thanks for finding the time for this Hop.
I also want to thank Kyuss for what I think is his first review, but an incredibly thorough one!! Kyuss reviewed the Turboflotor T-1000 Protein Skimmer with Ocean Runner 2700 pump. Kyuss, we hope you'll find the time to contribute some more of those and hopefully we'll be able to welcome you to the TRT Reviewers' Club.

Joining the TRT Review Club
The TRT Review Club has grown very rapidly as many members have contributed product reviews over the past few weeks since we launched the club.
As of today, we will be awarding membership in the club to members who'll have contributed 10 reviews, or more.
We hope to continue receiving many reviews and growing the club.
Thanks to all for their participation.

Lol. That was quick. I just spent an hour writing some reviews of things I have used recently. This takes more time than I expected since I want to write more than simply, "this stuff roxzors". All the same, it is nice to have it in once place. So many times I have wanted to see what others thought about XXX product but it's a little wierd trying to read a review on a site which is trying to hock said item. Novel idea to have a review space which (for the moment it would seem) is not interested in the review financially.

Excellent reviews Ken. Not too long, not too short... comprehensive... excellent!

While we are engaging with mfgs to send products to TRT Reviewers for their review, TRT Reviews will remain objective... for hobbyists by hobbyists.
