The RSVP list so far:
Brad Chymist and wife
Traci Greve
Geoff
David Jones and Kaye
Cory Tothrow and wife
Garry and Brenda
TimmyG and family (+4)
Tony Scarini
Fat Tony and wife
Allison Ng and friend
The Shaws (+4?)
Michael and Tanya (Aquawolf)
Kelley and Meridith
Me and Mel
Cath
Simon Kruger
Doug McIntyre
Perry (Canton, Ga)
Lindsay and Phil
Bob
35 so far plus about 6 more that I know will come but have not RSVP’d yet...
This list is what I'll be using Thursday and Friday to determine how big a pig to get and what to fix, so please RSVP if you're planning on coming to the pig roast. The pig will be dressed and arrive Friday evening and go into a bathtub of ice until the fire is ready, but I need to let Mr. Cromer know about how big a pig to have available before mid week (yes, the pig is VERY fresh each year...)
Mel and I have decided on an initial menu of fresh corn on the cob, lots of butter, the Italian macaroni salad, slaw, roast pineapple spears, hot dogs if the kids want them, fresh zucchini and squash on skewers from the grill, a vicious rumor of peanut butter ice cream and chocolate brownies again, "fish" cookies, and whatever folks bring in the way of chips, dips, sodas, beer... I think Cath is planning to bring the Tabouli again, and it's possible we'll have some BBQ'd Touferkey for our veggie lovers, but I think I'm forgetting something...
... oh yeah, and lots of pork BBQ and four or more great sauces!
I'm starting to get excited!

I hope that the PB icecream isn't just some rumor...that would be vicious, Mel makes some of the most fantastic PB homemade icecream I have ever had!

I am also hoping to partake of that PB ice cream.
Tom, you should have used the picture where you are wielding the meat cleaver.
