TRT Picnic?
There has been some talk about trying to get a TRT picnic going, maybe in the PNW area in August. I heard that Alice is in charge of this get together  any comments Alice?  Keep us informed.

I heard you two may be on the guest list 
Yes, we are planning a get-together/picnic for August 3rd! It will be a TRT/PNWMAS combined shindig based at Mojo's house. We'd like to get an idea of how many people would like to come before we nail down the exact location. August 3rd is during Seattle's SeaFair so there will be many activities around the area, including hydroplane racing and an air show, for those who would like to turn the picnic into a mini-vacation. If you do want to spend some extra time, looking into hotel reservations soon may be a good idea as SeaFair is a very popular event.
We're going to have a blast!

Is the date etched in stone??? Thinking of coming out for a mini-vacation/tour, but my daughter is getting married that weekend... ...come to think of it, I may not have the cash to go!!!

spam_princess I am from Lakeville Mass down near the cape, there are 2 other guys from Mass I don't know if they still post but one is from Plymouth and the other from Quincy.

That will be so great if you can make it!
It does seem to be a good weekend for most people...kind of in the middle of the 4th of July and Labor Day. Darn, Tom and you know you'll have to be there to sign the checks....and give the bride away, of course
The first year that Doug and I got this picnic going we put notices up on all the boards and got a mixed crowd of reefers from about every board and from points all over the state. We also had some flyers up at a few LFS and Woody from Seahorse and Gene who now owns a store in Coos Bay brought us "reef goodies" for donations. For you folks looking for reefer buddies, you might give it a whirl; hanging out with fellow addicts is a lot of fun
