I had this as a prblem a few years ago in the prop system, the skimmer would stop working because the little ones would end up in the venturi for the Beckett injector... What was REALLY kewl was to look inside the foam column of the MR-2 and see them crawling up the inside of the acrylic...

I don't think that you'd want this to happen, but when the Halimeda went holo carpic in the prop system, I lost all of them and they never came back. I may have to swap you some coral for a set for a new breeding population.

Tom, just let me know. i have about as many as you want. as long as you keep the numbers below 30 i think i will have plenty for a full population come back in a few months. when i say 30 i mean 30 of the decent sized ones. if size does not matter than heck you can pretty much have a 100 of them.

i first thought they were Collonista, but do not think so anymore. they have the dual foot like the Trochus and their bodies are black. i have a couple that are over an inch in diameter, few, like 2 the originals i believe, but the others are catching up quick.

i will post a pic of one when i get home, so that we can be double dog sure.
