trigger fish and clean up crews?

I would like to add one to an aggresive F/O tank so I took some sand from my reef tank 2 mo. ago and I am working on establishing my DSB for this tank. Here is my question how prone are trigger fish particularly Odonus Niger to eating snails and hermit crabs? Will I be depending on my DSB and skimmer alone?
I am wondering what you use to feed on the leftover scraps?

A little insight for me will go a long way

thanks scott

Scott.....

One thing about Triggers is that they eat a lot, so the crap a lot...be ready to have to remove the detritus yourself, I a cleanup crew wont be able to keep up

Triggers will eat just about anything and they find crabs, shrimp and the occasional snail quite tasty.

Put a bunch of bristleworms in there and be prepared to clean the glass
