Trap Set!
Well, I just put in 2 glass bowls, about 8/10" high, 3" and 5" in diameter in the aquarium next to the rock work. I put 1/4 cube frozen formula 1 in the bottom of each. I'm trying to catch the four sally lightfoot crabs that ate my shrimp. I know this might pollute the tank but I'm doing a water change tommorrow anyway and it's a small price to pay for the amount of food I have to put in for them to persuade them against eating the clowns! Anyway, wish me luck, with enough of it, they might be sitting in the traps tomorrow am! I'm a little worried bout the fish though. My chalk basslet already got stuck and was beating himself against the bowl for 30 seconds before he figured a way out! Well, I'll keep everyone updated! Any bets anyone?

I couldn't find any, that was my first idea. I hope it works, any better way to tempt them into the bowl, I don't know if they can smell it! I'm thinking bout going in with a harpoon gun next!!! Maybe radioactive material...

Another Score! I got one of those blasted sallys! The problem is he's only a baby, or I would fry him! 3 to go! and then I can feed less, get some cleaners, and sleep well!

Any one know where to get a harpoon gun? Maybe Uranium, it would definatly fix the crab and algae, it just might kill the tank, hmm... I'll have to ponder that one!

That's a heck of a loss ruhspolostar! Shesh! Well, this morning there's none in the traps. Should I move them to a different spot? Try something else? Try tall glass cylinders? I need to get them by *onday to take them back to the Lfs or I may not have a chance for 3 weeks, by which many of the fish could die!
And I'm a recent treki(s?)!

thats a heck of a deadline
By Monday huh, if you can change the bait, i caught mine in 2 days using fresh squid, make sure its up against the rock not to obviouse, just like your slogan says, nothing good happens quick in a reef aquarium. Did Virginia Tech losing bother you at all? I jope they beat Miami, then SC is back in the running for the National Title, by the way how big is your tank, I had a heck of a time getting one out and my tank is about 150 gallons, couldn't imagine the horror of putting more than one in...

its a 120, so not too easy. Hmm.. I'll try the fresh squid thing! If i can get some. And I mean star trek! Lol. Well, I don't know if I'll make it, but I'll sure as heck try! Did anybody have any luck getting them out by net/hand because I'm taking half the rock out tonight to scrub it!

While I was trying to get the crab out, one night I saw it siting on the top rock, I tried to pick the rock up, but the crab went on the bottom side of the rock and flipped off into the darkness of the tank, and the next day it took revenge, killing my Jumbo Percula, , I should have had a net waiting to grab him, oh well...
Hey, I have been a trekkie since I was to, I'm a lot better at star trek technology trivia than I am at keeping a reef aquarium, but it could be argued that by having Star Trek technology in the future will make keeping salt water fish a lot easier, If any of you watch TNG, in Picards ready room there is a spherical aquarium in the wall twords the left as you enter the room, there is a liofish in it, I never took much notice to it untill last year and I've been watching it since I was 2, thats 15-16 years I've been a trekkie

Oh ya, I remember the lionfish! We should write to him and tell him to get some corals!

Yeah but that enterprise blew up already It was the ncc-1701-D now they have the sovereign class NCC-1701-D, I wonder if the lion fish survived the crash landing...
