Trap a Pistol Shrimp

How do I trap a pistol shrimp in a reef tank? He is killing and eating all my fish! Thanks for any ideas.

Try a fish trap.

my pistol hasnt killed any fish....but he has killed two shrimp.

well if the shrimps killing fish, try giving the shrimp some food and see if it attacks anything then

but if you defiantly want it out try a fish trap

I'm not going to explain this well, so hopefully someone recognizes it and gives you the site/can tell you if it works or not for shrimp.

Someone had instructions for a 'free fish trap', made out of a plastic water/soda bottle.
They cut the top off, flipped it upside down and stuck it back into the bottom part, and put some bait inside.

Something about fish being too dumb to get back out before you grab the bottle
