Tragedy!!!!!


yesterday morning I woke up to smoke in my house....and my tank was ON FIRE!!!! so anyways everything was lost, the tank cracked and almost everything is burned or smoke damaged anyways as soon as I can get a digicam I'll post some pics

p.s. I was able to save my giant clams and a few sps after I got back from the hospital getting treated for smoke inhalation...2 hrs later

the rest of the house is fine structurally but lots of smoke and siut damage.

this is a picture just 'fore it happened not the greatest pic but you get the idea, also I had just added 2 new corals and an rbta that didn't make it.

Sorry to hear it, such a beautiful tank too. Hope your insurance will help cover it. I think it is wise to recommend that people install a smoke detector under the tank.
