Toxins?

I have some pcv pipe holding up my live rock and am now wondering if I created a problem. The pipe has some cement holding to the rock but is not perfectly sealed. I am sure water can trickle in the pipe but it will not keep circulating. Will this anaerobic water release toxins worth being concerned about?

PS still wondering about my "coral turned to black ash" from my other thread if anybody came up with ideas. Thanks, Gene

that should not be a problem. using PVC to hold up LR is a good idea. most people do not seal them, but it would need to be completely sealed and then the seal broken after extended period of time for any toxins to be released. i feel that it would be extremely unlikely.
