Torn Bubble Coral

This morning while doing my water change, my bubble coral was dislodged from its spot and fell face down to the bottom of the tank. Either as a result of the fall or while trying to replace him, I discovered he has a torn bubble. He is mostly retracted right now, but some of the bubbles are open to about pea size.

I was wondering if he will be able to recover from this and if there is anything special I could do for it. Also, can he cause any trouble for the rest of my tank?

This is the first and only coral I have ever had, and I feel horrible to think I might of killed it.

Hey risubvet! I believe your bubble coral will do just fine as mine had a torn bubble from to much current and is really healthy now and can't tell where the bubble was torn. Johnny

You might give it an Iodine dip to fend of bacterial infection
