ok, i guess this dates me but euphyllias are some of my favorite corals. i always have the best luck with frogspawns followed by torches. i turn of my sump return about four times a week and feed a mixture of frozen cyclops, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and some flashfrozen phytoplankton. i don't target feed my lps corals. i keep my torch in the highest light and what i would call near extreme flow. my polyps split at a rate of about once every 6 weeks. i do 30 percent water changes every saturday and i monitor calcium around wednesday or thursday and dose if needed. usually it is getting down to around 420 around then. i also keep several other lps corals and some milli, monti, and acro. i have three clams, lots of zoos, pom pom xenia, and very limited mushrooms. i have a heavy fish load. i think the clams and xenia like the waste. i skim dry. i run a 400w 20k halide with 1 95w superactinic vho and 1 95w actinic white vho. my tank is 42" wide 24"deep and 24" tall. the halide is centered, the blue runs behind it and the 50/50 is in front. I can only place zoos directly under the halide at the top of the tank. even the milli doesn't like it. the torch actually is the next closest coral. anyway, this is working for me but i'm not saying it's the best method. good luck.
