Tongue Coral Splitting

hello,

I have a tongue coral and he hasn't been doing very good over the past week, at the beginning of the week it looked he was developing a little bump that progressed into a bubble and they finally tonight it split open. Is there anything I can do? My water levels seem fine and Temp is great.

Any idea what this is or what causes it?

ive read things about plate corals that arent healthy using their last bit of energy to pop out some clones before they die, your coral may be attempting that, im not sure how close the plates and tongues are related though.

sounds about right lets get some stats on the tank parms. numbers are important. what wattage lighting tdo you have over it?
