Tom's Hawg Roast...A Shameless Promotion
For those of you who are still undecided about attending Tom's Hawg Roast this Saturday, here's the photos of last year's festive soiree' to help you decide. http://upload.pbase.com/richardr/gal...oms_hawg_roast It really was a great time.
Our host with some of the best BBQ you'll ever have. He promises to not add any more of that 'secret ingredient' to this year's pork!
Just pull the trigger and let Tom & Mel know that you're coming.
See you there,
Dick

I am lucky and it's only a couple of hours to get there, so the kiddies are staying the day with my sister! Wow a whole day without Mamma, Mamma, MOM!!!! Now I know why my mom used to always says she was gonna change her name.

Jena, I told my kids that once. Miranda was about 4. She gave me this very serious look and said "It won't do you any good."
LOL

We've got the petsitter lined up, enough pain medicine laid in for Andy and clearance from his surgeon. That, and he has to gain some weight, so we're there!
Woo hoo!

Tom will even cater to the veggi people... although i don't see how it can be a BBQ without some meat, just don't seem right

I hope a lot of people make it here for the BBQ. It really was a wonderful time. Even my wife (who's not a reef person) enjoyed it and is coming again this year. So, here are the pro's to come: BBQ, get to meet Tom and many other TRT regulars, frag trading and equipment swap, BBQ, fireworks, get to see Tom's tanks, and did I mention BBQ? Hope to see everyone there this weekend!

Yeah my hubby doesn't like pork at all! He is such a oober, actually he doesn't like much of anything not from a cow. I told him there is plenty of food, something will catch his eye!

Maybe I'll throw a blade roast (beef) on Saturday morning early near the edge... should be good and tender by the time you're ready to eat...
I have a piece of a Pink Pocillaporiid that i originally got from the WMC in the late 90 when it was in Las Vegas (long story, a tribute to how plastic corals can be out of water... ) That I'll be breaking up for folks to take home, it is a survivor! Worth the trip alone!
