Toadstool Question

I know, I know...another question. Promise this'll be the last one today....maybe.

I was just reading an article on the net about Toadstools and it said to keep them away from macroalgae. Is this true? If so I need to take my leather back because my LR is bursting with at least 8 different kinds of macroalgae.

Define "keep them away." I don't have toadstools, per se. (Getting one in a swap soon) I do have a whole bunch of other Sinularia and Sarcophyton species, and haven't noticed any problems with keeping them in the same tank with macroalgaes. Maybe if the macro grows over the leather... now that wouldn't be so good. But then, just prune your macro. Maybe that is what the article you read referred to.

I'm not going to worry about it...actually it really wasn't an article, it was commentary on a reefers website....which is why I asked the question here. To see if the statement "held water". It didn't mention why just stated "Do not place them near any Zoanthids or macro-algae." I emailed the guy and asked why.
