ive read that alot of people's toadstool leathers shrivel up for a day or two, sit like that for a while and then they are fine. anyone know why? mine has just started doing this yesterday, and today it seems like its opening back up. this is common right?

i had a toadstool (traded for another frag) and it would sometimes shrivel up and then the next day it is like twice its original size. Dont know why it does this, my guess would be too much light? or something could be bothering it like hermits picking at the base for algae.

I think they close up and secrete a slim coding periodically. It can be an indication of too much water flow or too little. This is what I was told but I'm not positive.

They also shed from time to time, it could be doing that.
