to Sohal -or- not to sohal.... that is the question

i have a 75gal reef with LPS, SPS, softies, just about everything. i even have a LTA hosted by 2 Percs

would a sohal tang (about 5inches) do well in this tank?

again 75gal with about 1/2 the space filled with LR... only other fish are the 2 Percs that hardly ever come out of their LTA

Personally I don't thin k a 75 is big enough. Those can grow up 1'4"!

agree with the others . also once you add a sohoal , you can probally forget about adding anymore fish to the tank . i have seen first hand how mean they can be , and this is in a 600 gallon tank ,so amount of room makes no difference in their temperment .

I also don't think a 75G is big enough.

Concur with the rest of the folks... even a 125 is pushing it for this dude. They are all kind of fast and can have very dominating personalities. At 5", he's way too big for just a 75. You ask if he would do well, and I think the consensus is "no."

Maybe I'm late I wanted one for my 370 and after talking to people who had them it was decided that they should be in a tank 500 gallons or larger.

Sure, you will have people say "I've got one in a 225" and everything is fine... But wait two more years... Very territorial and very big eaters A very active fish that needs A LOT of swimming room! Putting one in anything smaller than an 8' tank would be cruel.
