to much current

can youhave to much current in a tank? i have a 30g tank that i built a pvc spray bar for it has ten different nozzels all over the tank hooked up to a mag 7. the guy at the fish store it would be better than a mag 5. the pump is outside the tank about three feet below it. the current inside isn't blowing everything around but i was just wondering. if this is the problem i can just cap a few of the nozzels. i'll trey to post pics

I don't think so. I make my fish swim against the current. They don't seem to mind.
