Titan 150 Aquarium Chiller

I plan to use this to keep my aquarium temp maintained, I had to elevate my water level in my tank after adding my closed loop and with the addition of the pump the added heat pushed my temp to 81, it normally stays around 78-80, I know this isn't a huge difference but I am worried about the summer months and I think I need to start saving for this...

It says it can be changed from heating to cooling in one button.... but I would like to find one that does this all automatically... It would be nice to buy two of these and get rid of my heaters inside the tank... if I could find one and set it at a temp and then set it to auto, much like home air-conditioners and thermostats work then that would be nice.... I only have a 29G tank so if you have any ideas let me know..

did you find the manual online? by all the descriptions i have read it sounds like it should do it automatically. i also do not see where it contains a heater also.

This is what I would reccomend. I have the cl650 and it rawks. The heater will have to remain but it will switch the heater on when it is needed.

If you have any questions the staff at PCI is great

How much is that I don't see a cost anywhere, I bet its about $500 or something, that would be the most expensive part I have ever bought for my tank... I need something affordable for a 29G that can heat and cool automatically I don't want to have to spend $500...

Like I said I have the cl650 and I have to lay my hand on it or least look to see if the cooling light it lit to see if its running. The web page above has a Db reading on each chiller i believe

I will have to admit that the CL-650 is VERY quiet, and Pacific Coast Imports has what I would concider the BEST customer service I've ever heard of! In fact, for my new 180, I'm hoping to have the funds to purchase myself one, with a very large and HAPPY smile on my face!
