tiny white bugs everywhere in my tank, good or bad?

hello, i just set up a 90g saltwater fish only tank, and i just noticed today that there is thousands of little white looking bugs swimming/crawling around on my glass and rock. The rock i have is dead live rock (this rock was once alive but has been dried out and bleached) but when i bought the rock it was in my lps tanks Just curious how these got there and if they are a good thing or a bad thing.

Thanks

Amphipod or copepods most likely on of the two is more likely to be on the glass than the other I get confused which is which but both are goo. How'd they get there? good question.

Good stuff man. If you have a sustainable population I'd say it's Manderine time.

monsaas,
your tank is still cyckling, hopefully the little white buggs are the pods we all want and love. it is a normal thing to see them, usally more when lights go out. it is usally a good sign that you see them too! i thik that was my first question when i found this site too!

could the use of bio spiral have anything to do with these bugs? cause i used that the help with the cycling (it adds live bacteria in the tank)

No, Bio spiral is bacterial only. Good for cycling FW planted tanks but I have not used it in SW. You critters may well be juvinile pods. They are very quick cause it's the only defense mechanism they have. That and the ability to hide.
