Time to build my sump!
I am going to go with a 20 gallon sump for my 90 and was trying to get a parts list together for the sump and overflow box.
I know you folks got some good stuff bookmarked so let me know!
PS: This is a budget build so nothing fancy lol.

Do you have an idea for the layout of the sump?
For the baffles, have a glass shop or Lowes cut the pieces to size and silicone them in (cheap and effective! What is the depth needed for the skimmer as this will dictate the height of the water in the skimmer section. This is the simplest way to do it and I have done it before as many have so you will be hooked up quickly!

I don't know what skimmer I am going to use yet. I have been reading too many mixed reviews about them honestly. I really don't know which ones to even begin to look at. I figured I could adjust the height of the skimmer in the tank so it would not matter but I am probably completely wrong.

Honestly just the "easy" stuff like my mushrooms, torches, hammers, richondis and stuff like that. The only 2 fish I have is a Clarkii and a yellow clown goby. I will add a few more fish but nothing crazy. And yea it is a 90g.

I read up on it and still have no idea what I am looking at lol. I don;t know if it is just a matter of brand or what the actual difference is between all these things.

The cone type skimmers are supposed to be the most efficient. I dont know. But I wouldnt doubt it....the design looks great. You wont be dissapointed with a skimmer like this......and even with a light bioload and nutrient loving corals....your still going to want a really good skimmer. And the MSX is a good one.
