trust me on this, there is only one pump for you if you want quiet. any of the Velocity pumps. a Velocity 2 sounds about right for what you are asking. maybe even a Velocity 1. these seem to be very conservatively rated. besides if you wanted to you could put an eductor on the outlet of a Velocity T1 and get some monster flow without much effort. the biggest drawback to Velocities is that they do heat the water. they are also
external pumps. it is just what makes them quiet. i have tried all kinds of Mags and they are very hit or miss. much more miss than hit when it comes to quiet.
