Thursday Morning
Morning Everyone !!
Coffee's on - Cereal and fresh fruit today. Peaches, strawberries, black berries, raspberry's and bananas ! OJ,and apple juice
Back to the shore today. I have 2 houses to do small renovations on and have to meet some subs there to tell them what I want done and get all the pricing together.I also did get another job in the 2nd Phase in Delaware .Should start in a week.I need to get a smaller truck or something . My F250 is gulping gas. I used $2000. in gas for that job. Ya know what I didn't account for ? The EZ Pass. That was $90. a month.
College was fun with my daughter yesterday. Not sure how I'm gonna pay for it but was nice hanging out with her.
O well . Gotta get going
Have a Great Day Everyone !!

Good morning TRT, Bio, I understand about the college cost, got two in for the next four years, one in pharmacy and that tuition level was not what we planned for. Busy day today probably home late, then short day, almost there. Have safe commutes and a great day.

Good mawnin', Tom, Jose, I see Dick out there, and all of TRT!
Thanks for the breakfast, Tom. All that fresh fruit will be great on cereal. Wow, your gasoline overhead really is a bite. Maybe the TRT Yugo would be better, but how would you carry all your stuff? Glad you had a good time with your daughter.
Jose - Holy cow, 2 kids in college at the same time is rough. I didn't realize that pharmacy school was that much more expensive.
Hi, HHC! Hi, Patrick!
By the time I finish scribbling, Dick will have posted a photo for us
Off to Civitan. Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone.

Good Morning, Tom, Jose, Cath, & Everybody!
Sunshine today and for the forseeable future.
Tom & Jose, I know full well about the cost of college. My older daughter started college and my wife went back to UT for her master's at the same time back in 88. Nearly broke me but it paid off. College is way more expensive now and I'm hoping FishGirl will earn enough scholarships to keep me out of bankruptcy court.
Tom, it's a trade-off depending on how big a truck you need for work. My son-in-law's Silverado Z-71 4-door 4WD gets 20+ highway.

Right again, Cath. We've been typing at the same time for many years.
The Fall colors are fading now but this is the way it was about 10 days ago.
This one, "Smoke On The Water", got a POTD today at http://photographyvoice.com/potd/vie...ape/dick-vance
Have a Terrific Thursday, Everybody!

Good morning gang.
Heading to the FD today. Teaching EMS class noon to 4. Finally managed to get the in laws shed finished yesterday.
Tom, I am right behind you. Mine is a soph in HS this year. I don't know how to fund the insurance hit when she gets her license, much less college tuition. Right now she is wanting to start out at the local Junior College, so that should help a little.
Seamore, good planning setting yourself up for a short day on Friday.
Cath, how was your jazz guitarist yesterday?
Dick, congrats on the POTD. Well deserved as always.
Y'all have a great day. I'll try to peek in before class starts.

Thanks, Ray. Yes, it's a big hit when they get the DL and even more when they hit college. At least, ins. for girls is cheaper than for boys. Kids ain't cheap these days.

Cath, yep Pharm is about 13K more than planed for yearly, (yeah). I did prepay/save but at undergrad level, she got in in two years instead of four (I know, it's a blessing). Lucky, they both have scholarships, still had to take a differed loan to manage it.
Mizer, short day every Friday, get in, focus, get-er-done, and smile.

Good Morning Everyone!
Tome, The EZ pass can add up, and if your not careful and use one in a rental car they add 2.50 day for the whole time you have the car. Rip off. I alway pull off and pay cash.
I'm just starting to pay out for Shelby and her school.
Great Picture Dick,

Good Morning TRT Thanks for the Coffee, and Banana. Seamore, In regard to Pharm school there are some companies out there like CVS, Walgreens and some of the local grocery stores that offer to pay for school if the kids sign a contract to come and work for them for a couple years after school and intern at the store while in school.

Good Thoisday morning folks - sorry I'm just now posting to this thread, but my laptop at home decided to do a "Microsoft Vista Update" and crashed. Blah! I'm back to Linux for a while and then on to a Mac. I'm sick of the updates that don't work or make things worse!
Beautiful day here in South Texas though, going to be close to 80 today and clear. Thanks for the breakfast but think I'll have more coffee please, my stomach is finally accepting coffee again - YAY!
Last day on this job. I'm glad. Ready to start a new chapter.
Hope everyone has a great day
HHC

Morning all
Midnite #3 is in the bag as of this morning. Was kinda ruff at work since we are at 1/2 capacity with one furnace running and the other down for maint. work .Us sparkchasers are not all that involved with down work, and outside contractors are doing most of the needed work involved(That may bite our bosses in the behinds when they try to start things up , since "we" did not have our collective hands in disco'ing/reconnecting wires etc., someone else did. We are just waiting for them to call on us to pull them out of the fire when things don't work like it's fota (Don't worry, it'll happen )
We are keeping busy enuf with just the one BOF furnace being in operation and also the lightweight type stuff involved with the other furnace being down .(Tho our main job is keeping the running fce.and related stuff running .
Dunno what the at home game plan is yet. tho i do know that my belly is full since my co-worker/buddy brought out a big container of B&G (biscuits n gravy) that his wife made prior to him coming in last night .
All i'm gonna say is, any/everything his wife makes or cooks n bakes , is top notch 100% extra special yummy!
We're not talking gravy with a lil sausage speck here n there, if anything the gravy might be considered a lil lacking compared to the sausage in it LOL! She won't give out her recipe (many have asked) and she has even pitched a batch when it did not turn out good enuf for her standards. Sure many will say biscuit gravy is just some flour, sausage etc. etc.,,,this stuff is NOT!
(I will gladly accept anyone's submission so's i can compare/rate yours to this wonderful belly filler! LOL,, I'll be so bold as to say others might come close in some aspects, but in my many years of B&G inhaling, i have never had anything to top what i had this morning.)
Enuf food talk , time to get doing whatever it is i'm planning on doing around here today.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning everyone. Record high temp of 75 predicted for today, and 80 tomorrow. Kind of interesting weather round these parts.
My wife says if she would do it all over again she would have been a Pharmacist instead of a Veterinarian. They are both expensive educations, but the Pharmacy job pays way more money back.
Have a great Thursday folks!!

Good afternoon
Just time for a quick note.
I missed the jazz guitarist yesterday because I opted to take a walk in the beautiful sunshine.
Same today, so I better duck out now before my break is over.
See you all later

I dunno about states other than mine Vince, but my EZpass tolls are a 1/3 of what the cash lanes are (They basically kept the tolls here the same when they started EZpass, and raised the Cash Only tolls. )Almost like Ill., they make it SO much of a inconvenience with not getting a EZ/I pass, they raise the cash only toll and make it so much of a pain to pull off the road to pay cash instead of the "drive thru" at highway speeds. Indiana's toll roads don't have the drive under toll taking deal yet ,and i still have to go thru a toll booth per se,but it's still cheaper AND much faster vs being someone who has to feed the coin basket (i've timed it once, cash toll taking takes about 2+minutes per car. I don't have to come to a complete stop myself )
