not to bad here in Oklahoma. a little cloudy yesterday. but felt great out. back on the 19th hot and sunny the thermomiter (spelling) in my car with windows down toped out around 100 deg. and yesterday with the clouds not anywere near that but nice. i hope today turns out like yesterday for me.
Daughter has cheer class and tumbling. 3 hours from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. with no break. i think that is much for a 6 year old every week. but hey it was babies moma that made that decision. i mean i don't mind having a cheer class but 3 hours straight on thursday and a hour and a half on tuesday. when is the kid gona be a kid. she doesn't love the class that much. she tells me she likes going to class but she doesn't like going to the long classes.
Oh and the son has a t-ball game at 7:00p.m. also. love the boy but i think he doesn't get the point of t-ball. he has center field pos. he spent most of his time stairing at the score board not the catcher. walking in circles. i had to yell across the field to tell him to pay atention. he just looked at me like HUH.
Oh well they are both kids.
IT WILL GET BETTER RIGHT!?!?!?!?
Please tell me it will get better.

Good mawnin', George, Hop, Chris, Luvmylo, and all of TRT!
Thanks for the coffee, George
Hop - ritualistic Speedo dance
Chris- Kids and their activies! Yeh, I guess they grow into them. It does seem a little tough not to have a break in a cheer class, though.
Last night a friend and I went to another friend's place to have ice cream and to watch their evening primroses pop open at dusk. If you've never seen it, you won't believe the show. The flowers are closed up all day, and at dusk (here that's 9 PM), they open up like time-lapsed photography. They stay open all night, and then those blossoms die, and new ones show up the next evening. And the flowers are fragrant, too. I found this photo on the net.
Lots of love and hugs and love to all.

Chris, it will get better. OK, that's what you wanted to hear, right? We had no organized kids sports when I was growing up. No little leagues, cheering, etc. All that was reserved for high school and kids were left to their own devices to organize neighborhood games. Of course, we had real neighborhoods back then. The little league phenomenon was in full swing when my older kids came along though, with the shuttle going from soccer, softball, baseball, and such.
Luvmylo, you know the drill, too, so tell Chris "It will get better".
Cath, very interesting about the Primrose's One-Night-Stand. Didn't know that. 'Course I don't know much about flowers anyhow.
My young cousin Andrew, in Navy Jet school, had an adventure the other day when his T-45 was struck by lighting at 23,000' on a training flight. It knocked out their oxygen, engine overheated, and had damage to the tail fin. He and the instructor made an emergency landing in Memphis but both were uninjured. Some tense moments with hands on the red ejection seat handle, though.
Today is FishGirl's last day in Rome. They will tour the Vatican, catacombs, and some other places before heading to Florence.
Meanwhile, just another long work day for me.
This lily is obviously a Big Orange Vol Fan.
Have a Terrific Thursday, Everybody!

Hey, Dick
What a story about Andrew! Glad he came out of it unscathed.
That's a perfect flower for you as a VOLS fan.

Good morning. I'm just waiting here to see how much I get to NOT spend on my tank this month because of the stupid car....completely died on the way home....battery or alternator or both....should be a stupidly high repair cost.
Chris, it doesn't get any better! I'll tell it like it is. The boys pay less and less attention as they age! The events get bigger, longer and more expensive.... OH, and the kids become less appreciative of the time and money you spend on them. Sorry, but this way, you could be pleasantly surprised!

Yeah, keep the expectations low about how much of your time and money you will have, as well as their level of appreciation for it and you'll be fine.
Oh, and thank your parents....they'll appreciate that so much!

Morning everyone,
Well found a new place to live and will be moving in over the weekend. All of the people at my old place are coming over and they said they want me to come hang out with them. There was a little animosity towards my ex girlfriend, but I told them not to bear a grudge towards anyone.
I guess there is this RN lady that sort of had her sights set on me. We will see if that works out. She has a newer car but I guess she bought her old boyfriend a 240 HP M3 and she still has it. I might as well at least talk to her.
Got a thing at a local bar that features oysters tonight with the folks from my old house.
Have a great Thursday!!!
