This is a Crabby Question?

Hi Everyone!!! I have this medium size hermit crab and he is really cool and does not harm anything that I have been able to see. He is mostly brown and has one real large claw which is dark brown and the bottom third of it is white.
Anyone got a good reference site so maybe I can identify this guy? I have had him for quite some time. Johnny

Hi Alice!! The Black & White Haw. hermit crab pic in Premium Aquatics comes so close to matching mine but I don't know.
I will keep searching and maybe with a good digital camera I will get a good pic of him. Thanks so much for the info. Johnny

Hey Johhny;

I did a search on google.com and came up with a few sites that might help you ID your hermit. There were a ton of sites listed under "hermit crab" but most of them dealt with the land hermit crabs people keep as pets. I had no idea they were so popular although I do remember reading about someone giving their land hermits little plastic football helmets to live in, instead of shells, and having hermit "races".
