This came off my frogspawn

This fell off my frogspawn today. What is it and will it grow up or die off?

I was looking at the bottom of my tank and then I noticed that water drop size frogspawn piece falling down from my frogspawn so I quickly sucked it up. It's now in a cup on the bottom of my 10g QT. I looked at my frogspawn and have no idea which section it came off of.

It looks like it was naturaly propigating itself. LPS will sometimes make a small calcium skeleton, and let it drop off. Its own way of self preservation.

there is a slight possibility that it will find a nice little whole to fall into, and from there begin growing a new skeleton and starting the whole process over again, so keep your eyes peeled.
