Thinking of Upgrading to MH

Currently in my 55G, I have JBJ pc lighting: 2 65W actinic blue and 2 65W 10K white. Thinking about upgrading to metal halide lights, but had some questions:

1. Which is better...combination of MH with actinic blue power compacts or just metal halides..say 14K?
2. What wavelenght do most of you use...10K, 14K, 20K? I don't want a light that looks too blue...like black light effect. I have 10K right now, and it looks good..wouldn't mind a little bluer.
3. Any recommendation of brands.. Coralife, Hamilton, Current, Jebo, etc.?
4. Any brands or types of lighting to down right ignore...nothing but bad news?

MH lighting is quite an invetstment, so I want to clearly think this out.

Thanks.

I would definatley want more light, I agree there. But what do you plan on keeping that makes a huge difference in what lighting I'd reccomend.
