Thinking of Changing tanks while possible

Hey Guys,

I have been doing some thinking. Besides my 30gal SW tank I have a 50gal FW Tank. And I might have a chance to give my fW fish to someone. So I was thinking about making the 50gal a SW tank. the thing is that I have a small budget. So I was wondering what would be needed for a 50gal and how much you think everything will cost????

I would like LR and corals. I really dont have any equip except aquaclear filter that would need to be taken out to get a new filter. I dont know anything about sumps. where do they have to be???? I have limited space. but tank could be moved if needed.

to do the 55 reef you need

skimmer
return pump
lighting (for coral)
plumbing supplies
overflow for the 55.

does the 55 have a stand? if so will the 30 fit underneith the stand? that is where the sump goes.

You could by a tank for the sump for $20.00 as well.
