Thinking of adding garlic

I'd like to add some garlic to my feed mush. I am under the impression that it protects against ick and helps the immune system. Is this right? How should I add it and how much? I was thinking of just buying a bulb or two and mincing up a bit to add.

I have used both extract and cloves. I would recommend the extract over the cloves highly. The problem with the cloves is that you cannot get it out of the food. The fish will not eat it and it will just look bad in the tank.

Get the extract you will be happier with it.

Garlic Guard from SeaChem...its a concentrated liquid

This is what I use.... I have tangs and they are very very sensitive to ICH.

I soak their food in this stuff and then let it air dry for a day. I dont measure anything out...I just just add enough to soak their daily food. You cant overdose this stuff.

THEY EAT THIS STUFF UP... I THINK THEY REALLY LIKE THE TASTE. If you open the bottle and smell it, it very potent garlic.
