thinking about a q-tank

i was thinking about setting up a q-tank and i guess my hamster started running. lol.. lights. sps .. lps.. softies. sps is the problem.. what do people use for lights on a sps q-tank and how long to qt them

what i am basically looking for is a check list of needs. i plan on putting sps corals on the top of the live rock in the 55. i forget the name of the corals but they grow sideways. top branches are allways the same heights.. there a few others but i can't spell.. lol.. some being monties though . ah here we go the Acropora corals.. maybe some birds nests.

thinking of t5ho fixtures i have but then not sure they put out enough light. i have 2 30" nova exteme 48watt fixtures. 2 bulbs at 24 watts each 10k and atinic .. unfortunitly they are on a single reflector .. what i don't wanna do is an MH set up .. the 55 has t5's on it ..

I don't think you need lights for fish, I actually covered mine with cardboard to block it (I believe the reason is less stress) and have it in a low traffic/noise area.

I through in a piece of PVC, heater and ph (with airline hooked up).

If you get a hang on filter you can put extra pads in your sump (if you have one) so that it can help with the ammonia and nitrite (obviously throw it out when done) I didn't have this so I had to do very frequent water changes with only 1 clown in it. (I was also treating with formalin so any bacteria woudl have been killed anyway)
