The Xenia frag that wouldn't die

Check this out....I cut about 5 small xenia frags and one fell off the base...........so a week later, I thought it had been lost behind the rocks.....and I find it stuck to my clam.......it is now sliding to get more light.....talk about tough little buggers!!!

Do you think I should leave it, or peel it off?

Cute but I think I would move it off the clam, before it overwhelms it. Then again I have never had any luck with xenia

you are probably right, don't want the stalks hitting the mantle all of the time......I'll peel the little fella off...

Remembe though to scrub it with a toothbrush where it was on the clam any small part of the xenia will grow back IME
