Congrats on the new digitata and especially on selling some of your corals. The pictures turned out great.

as for the rainbow monti... I just bought one... i take it there is a difference between a regular adn a limited ed. what are they? just green on the non le?
if so that might make me a little sad

A little more white, but I think it could also go by the "Superman" name. Regarding the rainbow, I think they're all supposed to have a couple different color polyps, but mine just isnt showing those right now. Maybe Bill will know...?

The Tyree has green and yellow and bright red polyps on the growing edge.
Non tyree could be many different animals, but the one pictured here in my tank has green like chris', but not nearly as many, then it goes into a dull yellow/orange, and then brownish red on the growing edge.
thats why I noted it was interesting to see his. in oneof those pics he posted I see red polyps, and have never seen that in my tank, although i do see three specific colors whereas his is mostly green( a nice bright green I might add) and a couple red on the edges.
Different tanks do different things
chris' LE isnt big enough yet to show the three distinct polyp colors. but it will be. Good thing i didnt charge him for that tiny little excuse for a frag huh??

Hey, 6 polyps is 6 polyps! That's essentially how my green birdsnest started, and it's been awesome to watch it grow.

Yep, he was flexing his jaw right when I was snapping pictures . Pretty common fish, to be honest, and very skittish, which I'm amused by.

I'll bet you do! It was in rather high demand, I was fortunate to get the only available frag from Quoc. Hopefully it'll grow well, and you'll get some. The green hairy milli could probably soon be fragged though, but I don't remember if you were interested in that one.

My DC-8 just failed. I walked in the room and the tank was dark, no power to it what-so-ever, however the data LED was still lit. I've just switched all critical stuff over X10 hardware, but I don't trust it. Looks like I'll be calling Neptune Systems in the morning, and I'm headed to their forum to start a thread over there. It's only 15 months old.
